How not to use PowerPoint

5 PowerPoint awakenings happened this week to me.

I recently created a “how to” or “walkthru” using PowerPoint. After finishing I realized, what the heck am I doing, everything I know not to do I just did. So I started again and got it much better, or so the users say.

Brent Schlenker also reminded me of the evil ways of PowerPoint early this week with his post on 20 Years of Death by Powerpoint.

Third, my educators need to learn not to put only bullet points all over their slides (aka learning packages). I reluctantly ask them if they want a refresher tutorial…Yeah Sounds like fun!

Fourth, my cubicle colleague asked me what I thought of her presentation and much to my dismay….we started over. 3:30pm. Friday afternoon. Computer network acting up. Yeah!!!! Sounds like fun.

And finally MSN.ca had on their opening page this weekend videos you need to see….http://www.davidairey.com/how-not-to-use-powerpoint/
