This is a neat idea that I came across tonight. Unfortunately it’s into it’s 3 part, but there is still time to participate and collaborate if you would like to be a part of Spike Lee’s next major film.
You can check out the Nokia Productions website and upload your photos, videos, text, etc all from your phone. Selected items will be used in the making of the upcoming film. Humanity is the overall theme and focuses on the role that music plays throughout the experiences of your life.
So far submissions for Birth and Life have been received and they are now excepting items for the final Act – Death. The deadline for submissions is August 20, 2008.
There is no limit to the number of submissions you can make and you don’t have to use a Nokia product to take part in the project. Take a look around you; use your phone or camera; you might become a movie maker that quickly.
