When I started this map at the end of Week 1 of this journey I could tell that it was bound to be filled with great ideas and links that I had gathered throughout my time participating in the course.
What I didn’t quite expect is how difficult it is to navigate through when it is completed expanded to it’s outer limits. I’ve used it so much I know where to find information within it. However, any one else many look at it and think what is any of this suppose to mean. Someone participating within the course currently or previously will surely see some terms they recognize or even many of their individual postings from blogs and twitter that I collected. Much of the chaos that seems to be present here (which in fact is not) comes from the hundreds if not thousands of bits of great information that were shared and created by the facilitators and more over the participants of the course.
There were readings from the facilitators, weekly and even daily blog postings from participants, a facebook group was created, a diigo tagging page, several twitter groups, several daily papers, and more of which I’m sure I lost track.
The entire course was an incredible experience to be a part of and to watch how it would unfold as the weeks went on. I now come to appreciate why many people will participate in the course year after year or at a minimum stop in to check out how the current year is progressing. No two years will ever be exactly the same. New minds, new ideas, new inspiration will always make this course and learning experience completely dynamic and ever changing.
Isn’t that the way learning should be.
