Another long weekend marking the middle of the year has come and gone. 200+ feeds to read and really not much is new. Here’s a few of the tidbits I scanned over:
Google is buying this, that, and the other. Facebook has another couple of useless, but amusing time wasters to add on to your page (adopt a pet, emotes, grow a garden, rock-paper-scissor challenge a friend). Iphone is everywhere except Canada. I read that many people got paid by others to wait in line for one of them. I hope they got paid well. The million year old tooth thing. CNN has made their site more web 2.0, more video, blogs, interactivity. Britain is under high alert. William and Harry held one heck of a bash. Kudos to Seamus O’Regan from CTV’s Canada Am program for not missing one “stadium wave” while interviewing during the Diana concert. Elearning Guild put out more of the schedule for the upcoming conference in November…must figure out how to attend.
Other then that. Not much has tickled my fancy so far today, but news comes so fast I’m sure something with surface.
