I came across this site today VolunterMatch.com. It’s a website network for volunteering, matching nonprofit organizations looking for volunteers with members of the public looking to donate their skills, time and effort.
As a volunteer you can view opportunities by area of interest (animal, health care, children, environment, etc) or skill that you can offer to these organizations.
