One of my favourite things about going to the movies is acutally watching the previews of movies yet to be released. This weekend I was pleasantly surprised to see the trailer for EARTH from Disneynature.
The movie is to be released this upcoming Earth Day, April 22, 2009. I’m a sucker for nature shows, but to combine it with Disney too….I’m there, get me my ticket. On a slightly more serious note the trailer looked fantastic. The cinematography looked as if we will get an extraordinary look into a year in the life of many creatures from around the globe.
If you go to Disneynature website there are actually several other movies listed to be coming out over the next several years. As per their website, “Disneynature it The Walt Disney Studios’ label dedicated to working with leading filmmakers to produce one cutting-edge theatrical release each year celebrating the wonders of the world in which we live.”
I look forward to this year’s Earth Day and hope this film is yet another great way that we will all continue to be inspired and become increasing aware of the world that we share with so many others.
